ABSTRAK

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji perbedaan kecenderungan depresi postpartum pada ibu pasca persalinan ditinjau dari status ekonomi. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah ibu pasca persalinan yang usia bayi tidak lebih dari satu tahun, antara 7 hari sampai 12 bulan di Kabupaten Banjarnegara. Dalam penelitian ini pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik cluster sampling, diperoleh tiga kecamatan sebagai sampel penelitian. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan skala kecenderungan depresi postpartum (skala EPDS yang sudah diadaptasi). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kecenderungan depresi postpartum pada ibu yang berasal dari status ekonomi bawah lebih tinggi dari pada ibu yang berasal dari status ekonomi menengah dan atas. Hipotesis penelitian diterima, yaitu ada perbedaan yang signifikan antara kecenderungan depresi postpartum pada ibu yang berasal dari status ekonomi bawah, menengah dan atas.

ABSTRACT

This study aimed to examine differences in the tendency of postpartum depression in mothers after childbirth in terms of economic status. The population in this study is that the age of the mother after delivery the baby is not more than one year, between 7 days to 12 months in Banjarnegara district. In this study, sampling was done by using cluster sampling, obtained three districts as the study sample. Method of data collection using propensity scale postpartum depression (EPDS scale that has been adapted). The study showed that the trend of postpartum depression in mothers who come from lower economic status is higher than in women who come from middle and upper economic status. Research hypothesis is accepted, ie there is a significant difference between the trend of postpartum depression in women from lower economic status, middle and top.
